July 8. Talbott Brothers
With a blend of folk and rock, the Talbott Brothers combine harmonies with storytelling and infectious melodies.
July 15. Brian Odell Trio
This acoustic guitar-driven jam band infuses elements of funk, rock, jazz, and even some classical.
July 22. 1939 Ensemble
1939 Ensemble doesn’t just cross genres, they embrace and exploit them, inviting listeners in through the familiar.
July 29. Mbrascatu
This indie rock band blends sounds ranging from delicate to explosive with expressive Italian lyrics.
Each performance starts at 2 pm around the hearth at the Tualatin Public library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave, Tualatin, Oregon.
A Friends of Tualatin Library donation supports the Sunday Music by the Hearth series.
Libraries Rock is the theme of the Tualatin Library’s 2018 Summer Reading Program. A kickoff party featuring music by Petty Fever, a Tom Petty tribute band, is scheduled for Friday, June 1st, 6 to 8 pm. The library will also have a photo booth, mascots, and balloon guy. Mark your calendar for this rockin’ event!
Kids and teens will receive a free book just for signing up. There will also be special programs for kids at the Commons on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. Check out the library’s page on summer reading for all the details on this great program.
The Friends donated funding to the library for books and activities for the Summer Reading Program. We hope you’ll enjoy it!
