Fall Book Sale: November 7 – 8, 2025

The Friends of the Tualatin Library will hold our two-day Used Book Sale on Friday, November 7 from 3 – 6:00pm and Saturday, November 8, from 10am – 4:00pm in the Community Room of the Tualatin Public Library, 18878 SW Martinazzi Ave. in Tualatin.
Please join us for a “Members Only” pre-sale on Friday afternoon from 2:00 – 3:00pm. Current members of the Friends of the Library will have first pick of all sale material. Become a member online before the sale or join at the door.
This fall sale will feature a good selection of fiction and non-fiction books for adults, as well as plenty of children’s titles. Special offerings this sale includes puzzles and games, adult graphic novels, DVDs, and music CDs. Most book prices are in the 50 cents to $3 range except for some especially nice books and other items which will be priced individually.
NEW! Our bag sale on Saturday, November 8th has been extended to TWO HOURS! During this time you can fill an entire shopping bag with regularly priced books for only $5! Special priced items tagged with a yellow sticker will be half-price during the bag sale.
We accept credit/debit cards and cash for payment. (Sorry, no checks).
We’re taking a “Donation Vacation”
It’s a very busy time for us as our upcoming sale approaches. So…we’ll be taking a break from accepting book donations from October 25th through November 9th after our sale activities conclude. We’ll resume accepting donations again on Monday, November 10th.

May Book Sale Results
Hey everyone! We want to thank you for attending our spring book sale. You helped make it our most successful sale yet. We grossed over $3,000 (a new sale record) which will support many programs at the Tualatin Library.
And, a very, very special thank you to those who volunteered to set up, cashier, keep inventory stocked, and then tear down after the sale. We couldn’t do it without you!

2024 Accomplishments
The past year saw us get back to a more normal mode of operation. Our yearly planning session helped us renew our commitment to supporting our Tualatin Public Library. Below are some of our major accomplishments in 2024.
- We hosted two book/media sales, raising nearly $5,000 to help support our Tualatin Library.
- We’ve raised an additional $20,000 via our ongoing sale shelves inside the library, membership dues, donations, and other miscellaneous sales.
- We donated over $17,000 to the Tualatin Library in support of a variety of programs that enrich our Tualatin Community.
- We made various improvements to our operations, such as adding a QR code to streamline PayPal payments, and updated various technology to help keep things running efficiently.
- And, the biggest, most time consuming, achievement is that we updated our Bylaws!
