May Book Sale Results

Hey everyone! We want to thank you for attending our spring book sale. You helped make it our most successful sale yet. We grossed over $3,000 (a new sale record) which will support many programs at the Tualatin Library. And, a very, very special thank you to those who volunteered to set up, cashier, keep inventory stocked, and then tear down after the sale. We couldn't do it without you! Spring Book Sale – May 9-10, 2025

The Friends of the Tualatin Library will holding our Springs Used Book Sale on Friday, May 9 from 3pm - 6pm and Saturday, May 10 from 10am - 4pm in the Community Room of the Tualatin Public Library.  This sale will feature lots of fiction and non-fiction books for adults, as well as plenty of children’s titles. Special offerings will include puzzles and games, biographies, adult graphic novels, some LP albums (mostly classical), and music CDs in the lobby. There will even be a lightly used, First Generation Kindle Scribe with 16GB of memory and the Basic Pen on sale for $175. The Members-only pre-sale is on Friday, May 9 from 2:00 - 3:00pm. Members get early entry to the sale to get first pick of all sale items. Ready to join? Great, we always welcome new Friends. Become a Friends member. Most book prices will be in the 50 cents to $3 range except for some especially nice materials priced individually. During the last hour of the sale on Saturday, May 10 from 3 - 4:00pm you can fill a shopping bag with regularly priced books for only $5! Items tagged with a yellow sticker will be half-price.  Credit cards and cash are accepted for payment. (Sorry, no checks).
